On Monday October 3 Lorquí was presented at the association "Road to Humanism and Science", a local body non-profit organization which has an eminently educational and cultural.
For this, the local mayor, Joaquin Hernandez, the City received a representative of this association, whose main objective is to raise the educational and cultural level in the municipality.
It seeks to awaken in the 4th grade students of ESO and Bachillerato of 1 taste for scientific study and critical issues related to Social Sciences, Arts and Sciences.
"This body will organize activities such as meetings, lectures, courses, workshops, conferences and research among our youth," said Mayor ilorcitano, who notes that they will also conduct a study with students in 4 º ESO in early each annual course on issues related to Social Sciences, Arts and Sciences.
This study will continue next year Bachelor 1, under the responsibility of a teaching team consisting mainly of teachers of IES "Romano Garcia" local and will conclude with a summary presented at the end of the course.
Honorary member
After the official reception at the Town Hall ilorcitano, the entity's miembos went to school "Roman Garcia" Lorquí, where they have their registered office, to make the official presentation, which involved the local Councillor for Culture, Maria Dolores Garcia.
