The City Council has launched Lorquí between 2 º ESO students from IES "Roman Garcia" of the municipality a workshop on "Prevention of sexism and gender violence", which, with care-free mind whose objectives with that of sensitize young people about the experience of gender violence in general, and particularly on that given in the relationships of adolescents and youth.
Other purposes of this proposal are the elimination of myths and misconceptions related to gender violence and the development of skills to detect a start control exaggerated or violence, and then to deal with conflict, showing patterns performance and reporting of resources in case of aggression or abuse.
Among the contents of the workshop we find concepts such as types of violence, social roles and gender stereotypes, the areas of discrimination and sexism, sexist language, resolving conflicts non-violently or affective education equality.
