Lorquí City Council in the coming days will speed up payments to its suppliers are SMEs and freelancers because of the liquidity that the 2011 Local Government ICO injected into the municipal coffers, after signing on the morning of Tuesday December 13 ilorcitano Mayor, Joaquin Hernandez has made this financing operation.
Liquidity, with an amount of around 188,000 euros, will soon pay off the debt of almost 12 months to finalize and almost 2010 with these providers.
"The goal is to alleviate the situation of many self-employed and small businesses, given the current economic climate, they encounter a serious problem to settle its receivables for supplies, works and services performed to the City," said Hernandez, a local authority .
There are three proposed criteria for allocating capital raised cash with this operation, in order to include the payment to as many potential suppliers on the one hand, it has been established as a ceiling on the invoice amount of 20,000 euros, for another, prioritizing the oldest bills, and, finally, prevail autonomous payments to SMEs.
Sustainability of public finances
