The Department of Culture of the City of Lorquí delivered on the afternoon of Sunday December 18 contest prizes school Christmas cards, which were gathered all the students enrolled in public schools "Dolores Escámez" and "Jesus Garcia" the municipality.
A contest in which for each grade level were awarded with four gift certificates for each value of 20 euros to redeem for school supplies in any of the libraries Lorquí.
The jury, composed of members of the Reading Municipal Workshop, based its decisions on style and originality of the cards presented, which should be in cardboard sheet size (each student could submit only one work).
In this event, which included the local mayor, Joaquín Hernández, and Councillor for Culture, Maria Dolores Garcia, served the local Rondalla playing a selection of Christmas songs.
For their part, members of the jury Christmas carols decided not to award the prize of the contest did not satisfy the minimum participation fee required by the rules.
