Lorquí City Council has for some days with 25 new containers for separate collection, to be located in the town and in the various neighborhoods and districts that make up the municipality ilorcitano.
These new additions are divided into 15 blue containers for the collection of paper and cardboard, and 10 yellow for the disposal of plastic containers.
These new containers, financed by the Ministry of Water and Agriculture of the regional government and the European Union, were received on Thursday 22 December at EcoPark facilities by Councilman Municipal Works and Services ilorcitano Consistory, Francisco Garcia.
"This acquisition will help maintain the environment and citizens closer to the source separation and separate collection for recycling of the same. This will achieve a clean and pleasant spaces in our town," said Garcia.
This new addition of containers adds to other initiatives in Lorquí on recycling and street cleaning highlighting the implementation of underground containers, used oil collection, awareness and citizen campaigns promoting the reuse of waste.
