"It's about raising awareness among citizens on the use of seat belts in the urban area of ​​town as it tends to fall into the trap of thinking within the municipality, on short trips, there is no risk of accident and Therefore, there is no need to use. But unfortunately, that thought does not correspond to reality because there are cases of serious accidents within the municipalities, the consequences of accidents decreased to wear a seat belt, "he explained the mayor of the municipality.
The Provincial Head of Traffic, Francisco Jimenez, has congratulated the consistory, the Department of Interior and Local Police on this initiative and explained the importance of further betting on such campaigns to raise awareness to the public how vital is the safety belt use.
He has also indicated its willingness to collaborate in all campaigns of this type that can be carried out in Orihuela.
