This morning Mayor Lorquí, Joaquin Hernandez, accompanied by the town planning cocejal and deputy mayor, Carmen Baños, held a meeting with Secretary General of UGT, Antonio Jimenez and other members of the union.
The reason for the meeting was the sharing of possible avenues for job creation in Lorquí.
Mayor Antonio Jimenez moved to concern about the unemployment situation in the Region of Murcia, in particular, for the difficult times through many familys, some of them in the town of Lorquí.
Therefore, one of the main topics discussed was the drive to tackle the economic and employment of the municipality trying to accomplish active employment policies.
Mayor and council have asked the UGT leader in the Region of Murcia to do everything in their power to assist in this company and have moved the City Council Lorquí desire to have a day center and a home for Seniors the municipality, two infrastructures that not only cover the needs of many residents, but also create new jobs in the municipality.
