Lorquí Mayor, Joaquin Hernandez has held on Monday 28 May a meeting with the Minister of Culture, Pedro Alberto Cruz.
At this meeting, led by the mayor of Lorquí, the mayor has shared his vision with the counselor about how to promote the many attractions of the town and increase the number of visits by offering a tour package of quality, project that the city has already begun to develop.
Also, Joaquin Hernandez has moved to Minister of Culture Lorquí the urgent need to have a new larger library and offer more services.
Something that the mayor has asked the counselor's commitment: "Lorquí need a library and a day center are two priority infrastructure for the town so we asked the counselor to do everything possible to help us in this endeavor."
In both tourist and cultural level, the mayor and the director have talked about the three Salzillos retaining the town, recently declared of cultural interest, and the possibility to declare as BIC cave houses the municipality or the House of Fawn.
Regarding the House de la Cierva, the Mayor Pedro Alberto Cruz moved to the idea of ​​this mythical town hall building and restore it back into life.
To which the mayor has asked the counselor to seek potential investors.
Finally, as chairman of the Committee on Culture and Tourism of the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, Joaquin Hernandez has stated its intention to have assiduously contact with the counselor to act as "information bridge" between the counseling and committee chairs in the FMRM.
