The consistory ilorcitano, understanding that the intervention of neighbors of Lorquí does not end with the vote at the polls, a step further in adopting participatory democracy citizen participation regulations of the municipality.
Such regulations shall encourage the participation of the residents of the municipality in public affairs, directly or through representatives.
Thus, the City of Lorquí guarantees citizens of the municipality the right, among others, information on skills management and municipal services, the right to access files and records or information on the plenary sessions.
The regulation of public participation Lorquí Township also includes the possibility of public hearing, the citizens' initiative and referendum.
The latter allows the consistory firsthand feedback from neighbors in different subjects.
