Lorquí City Council through the Department of Culture has collaborated in the organization, along with the theater group 'The Kallejón', to celebrate next week's regional theater I Contest amateur 'Villa de Lorquí'.
The works will be represented from 16 to 19 April at the Cultural Center 'Enrique Tierno Galvan' from 21.00.
The neighbors can enjoy completely free of many diverse parts subject represented by amateur theater groups and amateur and always in the Region of Murcia, as "it is the best way to promote our culture and giving space and visibility to our people, "remarked the Councillor for Culture, Maria Dolores Garcia.
The program will start on Tuesday 16 with the staging of 'The daughters of Tara' of a group of Bullas, Wednesday climbs on tables with a group of Algezares 'Sublime Decision' on Thursday it is up to the participants of Yecla with 'A husband round', and finally, on Friday from Murcia UGT Theatre with 'The park of Fools'.
The mayor wanted to thank the work of the theater group 'The Kallejón' in organizing this event which is a significant boost to the annual municipal cultural activity and that is an advance on the Cultural Week which starts on Sunday 21 with adult reading marathon.
Awards
The councilman of Culture, recalled that participants will be eligible for various awards in the categories of Best Play, with 300 euros, and best actor and actress, with 100 euros.
The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 4 at the Cultural Center 'Enrique Tierno Galvan', along with the awards photo contest and celebrated short story along the Cultural Week.
