Lorquí City Council opened on Friday April 26 classroom studying 'Tooth Fairy' located on Constitution Avenue to facilitate the residents and the municipality loss provisions or a study room equipped for such effects as a result of the examination session university of May.
The room has a total of 40 places for study and opening hours are Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 21.00.
In addition, demand could be extended both as opening hours to weekends, as commented the Councillor for Culture, Maria Dolores Garcia.
"This initiative is a real need Lorquí students demanding an infrastructure for this purpose, since in the library, which is also media library, there are many daily activities and conditions were not optimal for the study" highlights Councillor of Culture.
Hence, to offer this service for two years, the City made available to students this space equipped with tables and chairs for study during exam periods.
So, this year will be open for calls for May and, for the first time, for July and intent of the City is that that is also in September, as the past year, as some races already have adapted and moved examinations to July while others even those made in September, so we will try to give the possibility to make use of the classroom in both periods, notes Garcia.
The council has stressed the positive reception of this initiative by the students ilorcitanos and the important effort made by the City to provide this service.
