The Public School Dolores Escámez held on Friday April 26 an emotional ceremony at the Cultural Center 'Enrique Tierno Galván' to commemorate his 30 years of training and educating residents of Lorquí.
The center's director Carmen Gallego was responsible for exercise and go emcee giving and giving voice to the many authorities and representatives of the educational community who participated in what became a tribute to public school and its educational Lorquí.
The opening of this center, the second in the city, represented in Lorquí educational and pedagogical reform which would be reflected both in the form of providing teaching and in an innovative concept from the building and the space devoted to training.
Also recognized the work of a village neighbor, a teacher, who spent over forty years in the training and education of the students of our people.
The event began with an emotional speech by the director of the Center who reviewed the thirty year history of the school, something that was evident to all attendees due to some pictures he did a tour of the three decades of Dolores Escámez and teachers and students who have passed through its halls.
In addition, also spoke at the event a representative of the alumni who is currently performing in the center practices, the president of the Association of Parents of the College and the mayor of the municipality.
The mayor, Joaquín Hernández, wanted to highlight the work of all teachers in the center, with its director Carmen Gallego to the head, that "in difficult times is an example of quality public education."
He also had a memory for those who previously headed the center: Manuel Fructuoso, Luis Angel Martinez and Solano Ginés.
To finish the event, the band of the Friends of Music Lorquí gave a brief concert after delivery by the City of a plaque commemorating the 30 years the school principal.
