On Wednesday April 24 awards were failing the first edition of photo contests and short stories organized by the City of Lorquí within the celebration of the Second Cultural Week which took place from 21 to 28 April.
So, in the form of photography, for fans, we have valued the work, series of three photographs, presented for a total of 12 participants resulted in the following classification: The first prize, with a prize of 150 euros was for Eduardo Mayoral Serrano, the second prize with 75 euros, was awarded to David Ato Guardiola, and the third prize of 50 euros, in Jesus Rodriguez Matthew.
The works will become property of the City Council reserves the use for promotion and / or disclosure of the municipality and to be published in full on the website of the City.
As for the short story competition for over 18 years throughout the Region, with a total of 8 participants, the winners were: first, with a budget of 100 euros, Mariano Navarro Sanz 'The Parrot measure it' and secondly, Antonio Marchal Sabater (pseudonym), 75 euros for 'The Awakening', and finally, third, with 50 euros, Juan Benito Lopez with 'one day'.

The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday May 4 at the Cultural Center Enrique Tierno Galván after the performance of children's 'The Ratita Presumida' by Zero Theatre Company.
