Lorquí Mayor Joaquin Hernandez, this morning held a meeting with the government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Joaquin Bascuñana, to introduce and expose the main needs of the municipality in terms of infrastructure and housing.
The aim of this meeting, held at the Delegation of Government has been to put the power to the national government responsible for the Community of those claims and demands that the council has done in recent months to the Executive for reaching a series of agreements or collaborations between government that can respond to them.
Within these needs include primarily those related to the development of industrial estates, in regard to continuing the proceedings for the transfer of ownership of the N-301, and the drafting of a multiannual plan for the rehabilitation of homes and the area of ​​seamounts.
And the mayor has shown a willingness for collaboration with the Delegation of the Government in security in the area.
So, Joaquin Hernandez stressed that "township Lorquí has ​​certain needs and demands for cooperation is needed from regional and national administrations because they exceed municipal powers, so we expect to extend their cooperation".
In this regard, he assured that "it has been a very positive first meeting but expected to be one of many that are to come to work for Lorquí".
