The mayor has gotten the counselor's commitment to assess the situation and begin The Cabezos actions in the area
Lorquí Mayor Joaquin Hernandez, had a meeting this morning in San Esteban with presidential advisor, Manuel Campos, to transfer the municipality's needs.
The main claim of the mayor has been the regional government's commitment to the current situation in Los Cabezas, since "the gravity of the situation requires urgent action and joint between the two administrations" as he assured Hernandez.
In this regard, he pointed out that there are several homes that are being hurt by the collapse of one of the walls that kept part of the Los Cabezos Lorqui constantly exposed to earthworks that have been particularly affected by recent rains.
It has also affected road infrastructure, sidewalks, sewers, lighting and other utilities.
"This is a need that can not be spread in time because it is of extreme urgency, the neighbors can not continue in this situation of insecurity and we ask the cooperation of the region", said the Mayor.
During the meeting between the two administrations, the mayor has gotten the presidential adviser commitment this week to send technicians to the Autonomous Region to assess the situation and to start working on a plan for rehabilitation and upgrading of the area within a short period of time.
Roundabouts, library and municipal pool
The Mayor has also exposed other counselor needs such as construction of several roundabouts in the industrial estates to facilitate the entry and exit of trucks, especially in anticipation of the installation next year of the logistics platform Lidl in the Industrial Development Zone.
Finally, we have moved the urgency of modernizing the public library facilities, as "it has been very small for the population of the municipality" and the need for a municipal pool.
