The dog was chosen by the City Council Facebook page from a total of 38 pets with a sum of 960 likes in just over a week.
The official mascot of Lorquí 2013, a shar-pei puppy five months and has called Dune board credited with the result that title after winning with 960 likes on Facebook in the competition held by the City of Lorquí through the Department of Health, last June.
The owner of Dune, Marina Alacid, picked up the plaque on Monday July 15 during the live broadcast of the Special Program Color Wave Party that took place in the Town Hall Square.
The delivery charge to make was the Councillor for Health, Carmen Baths, which highlighted the important participation of residents of the municipality in this initiative, "which highlights the responsibility and love that show with animals and their care" .
The contest, which called on Wednesday June 5 in the activities of the First Week Healthy, was performed to search Lorquí mascot and enrolled a total of 38 animals that were photographed to create a photo album in the City Facebook profile where everyone could come and vote for your favorite.
