The GRUVENTA exporting company based in Lorquí (Murcia), has begun the table grape season "seedless" with great commercial expectations because this grape has great quality and is rapidly growing its international expansion.
Murcia region is the main producer and exporter of Spain in seedless table grapes (seedless), which is 70 percent of the grapes grown in the region.
This growing area has about 3,000 ha.
The most widely grown varieties are 'Crimson Seedless' and 'Superior Seedless'.
Also, to a lesser extent, other varieties are grown as 'Autumn Royal' or 'Flame seedless'.
As explained by the Director General of GRUVENTA, Fermín Sánchez Navarro, "the seedless grape production is growing at top speed, especially for its convenience to the consumer, what you are doing to have an increasing international demand both in the center as in the north of the European Union ".
In addition, the owner of this company stated that "countries and Russia are opening seedless grapes consumption, and thus, can be gradually diversifying exports and that's very positive for our industry."
