On Thursday July 25 Lorquí celebrates its finale after an intense program full of activities beginning on Friday July 12th with Dinner Barrios, with the traditional procession in honor of the patron St. James.
During these days many residents and visitors who have enjoyed and participated in events and activities organized by the City of Lorquí aiming to publicize their customs and traditions.
The procession will leave the St. James Church at 2200 hours and will involve the Association of Knights of Santiago and the Band of the Friends of Music Lorquí.
But this is not the only activity scheduled for the last festive day, as at 13.00 hours at the Town Hall Square will be a tapas competition which will award the three best dining with a ham, a batch of sausages and a bottle of wine and manchego cheese with free beer for everyone.
The event will be entertained by a group of Batukada.
At night, after the procession will take place on fireworks, at 00.30 hours in the park of the Constitution, which will mean an end to the celebrations of 2013 to the next year's festivities.
The council of Celebration, María Dolores García, said that for those who have not had the opportunity to visit the city even during the holidays, this is a perfect opportunity to do and invited everyone to participate in the last acts of the 2013 festival program.
