Lorquí Mayor Joaquin Hernandez, held this week a meeting with the president of the Regional Federation of Hospitality and Tourism (Hostemur), Soledad Diaz, with the aim to develop projects and activities for the promotion of the sector in the municipality .
The mayor is holding a series of meetings with representatives of various professional fields, at local and regional levels in order to implement plans and projects that stimulate the economy Lorquí through their strengths.
Thus, within the strengths of the municipality, the mayor stressed Lorquí tourism potential through aspects of culture and tradition, so performances will be held to promote tourism-related sectors, such as be the hospitality and catering.
Lorquí City Council has asked its Hostemur collaboration to design, together with local entrepreneurs, strategies based on the needs and qualities of business establishments and Lorquí for promoting this activity.
For his part, the president of the Federation has shown its willingness to cooperate fully with both the City of Lorquí as with the business sector in the municipality.
