Not every day a century of life is reached.
So, to mark the 100th birthday of one of their neighbors, Angel Hernandez Gil, the City Council and congratulated the Lorquí homenajeaba known to all as "Uncle Angel 'on a special date.
Mayor Lorquí, Joaquín Hernández, accompanied by some members of the municipal corporation on behalf of all the people of Lorquí handed a plaque to honoree "by years", but especially "for the exemplary manner that has had to live them" as highlighted in the ceremony held on Saturday in the Parish of St. James.
With good health and without any ailments that own age, 'Uncle Angel' meet on the 25th of this month the century of life, surrounded by his family together long and 7 children, 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, and neighbors, and shared an emotional meeting, in which were many gifts and words of love and admiration, and then a chocolate in Freedom Square.
A very active person who after retirement has continued to exercise for 'handyman' to their children, worked the garden and until recently kept driving.
With a memory intact, and he still remembers stories of his many travels-has been carrier-and some poems of adolescence who recites and teaches his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Also, is enjoying one of his passions, football and Real Madrid.
