Lorquí becomes Jerusalem for a few hours and numerous corners of the town served as the stage for Bible passages of the last hours of Jesus.
It is a unique experience of deep religious, cultural and artistic feeling.
The people of Lorquí occasion of the celebration of Easter, this year will host its third representation of Living Passion.
It is a dramatization of the last hours of the life of Jesus with a display of nearly a hundred actors.
Coordinated by the cultural association 'Friends of the Living Passion' and with the support of the City of Lorquí and the Council of Guilds, for just over two hours, the whole town turns into Jerusalem, where public and private spaces are the historical sites Jesus walked before his death.
At sunset begins the first scene in the Last Supper, cultural center which is followed Prayer in the Garden and The Arrest, The Trials of Caiaphas, Herod and Pilate, reaching the play to its climax at the summit of Historical Cabeza de la Ermita with the Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection.
Many residents who work in this sacred representation and many visitors in the past two years are close to Palm Sunday the people of Lorquí and live a unique experience of deep religious, cultural and artistic feeling.
