The Association of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen of the Vega Media in collaboration with the City Council and the company Lorquí Mapeka this application are launched aimed at boosting trade in the town.

Over 100 stores have already joined this project in just 15 days.

The Association of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen of Middle Vega (ASEMOL) in collaboration with the City of Lorquí and Mapeka company, responsible for 'Zankiu', are launching a pioneering initiative in Spain with the aim to encourage and promote the shopping local trade, investing in new technology trends through a mobile application.

So this morning has been presented at the Guildhall ilorcitano with the mayor of the municipality, Joaquín Hernández, president ASEMOL, Nicolás Diego, and the project manager 'Zankiu', Manuel Perez, a technological application for smartphones or App aimed at boosting trade in this location.

'Zankiu' which is the name of the application, available for free for both phones as Andorid Iphone environment, allows access to customers and users of local commerce to a platform where they can see and know the offers from their local area without scrolling, which aims to boost the sector.

"This tool allows businesses and establishments in the municipality to be the last in sales through mobile phones, investing in new technologies, and providing more visibility to be an added value for the point of sale. Moreover, improvement outdated concept that some customers may have on local commerce, "as Perez commented during the presentation of the application.

Through the collaboration agreement between ASEMOL, City Council and the company Lorquí Mapeka businesses can join the project for free.

"It is an initiative that highlights the concern of the City by promoting and encouraging local trade and modernizing it through the introduction of new technologies," such as has underlined Hernandez, who has also grateful to ASEMOL "always has the Consistory for such initiatives."
