For the occasion is scheduled a week of activities with street concerts, exhibitions and a tribute to the musicians, teachers and principals who have been through the association in these three decades, as well as the founders of it.
The Friends of Music Lorquí, in collaboration with the City of Lorquí, held on Saturday November 22 to coincide with its 30th anniversary on the day of St. Cecilia, patroness of music.
Thus, for this occasion organized a concert by the Band which will pay tribute to the musicians, teachers and principals who have been through the association in these three decades, as well as the founders of it.
The main event will take place in the Auditorium Enrique Tierno Galván from 20.30.
It has also planned a series of activities starting today with the opening of the Exhibition of Photographs and Sculptures on 'The Divine Comedy' by Dante in the IES Romano García by the center's director, Juan Enrique Bernal, president Association of Friends of Music, Juan Pedro Cremades, mayor of the municipality, Joaquin Hernandez, Cultural and Councilwoman Maria Dolores Garcia.
This sample has itinerant character and can also visit the Municipal Library, beginning November 21, in the City, from the 9th of January.
Concert in the street
To bring music to everyone, the band will go out on the occasion of its 30th anniversary with a series of concerts in the squares of the town.
Thus, the November 18 concert flutes and saxophones will be held in the square in honor of the victims of terrorism at 19.00;
Wednesday 19 concert clarinet, percussion and modern music combos at 19.00 in Liberty Square;
November 20 concert piano, combos Ilorci-Brass and modern music in Liberty Square at 19.00;
and before the main event will take place on Saturday 20th, the coming November 21, concert by the Band of Lorquí in honor of St. Cecilia Auditorium Enrique Tierno Galván at 20.30.
