Twelve residents of Lorquí complete their training in a Sewing Workshop and Repair Apparel, launched by the City of Lorquí and Abraham Project through a collaboration agreement between both institutions with a ceremony of diplomas in Plenary Hall of the Consistory by the mayor of the municipality, Joaquín Hernández, and the CEO of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs IMAS, Miguel Angel Miranda.
The mayor took the opportunity to highlight the importance of training and retraining to find new vocations and to guide the future work of the students.
He also stated that this is a profession that is currently in high demand and can be a good way to self-employment.
Participants in the course, after receiving their diplomas, have shown the pieces that have made throughout the 40 hours that lasted the workshop the attendees.
