The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, said today the mayor of Lorquí, Joaquin Hernandez, who this month will proceed to the signing of the leases of 68 public housing of Lepanto, Quevedo and Lope de streets Vega municipality.
Bernabe said that this "is very important to normalize the status of homes and families that inhabit".

Also, the Minister Francisco Bernabé confirmed the mayor of Lorquí that his municipality will have the declaration of an Area Regeneration and Urban Renewal (ARRU), which defines a surface area of ​​over 35,000 square meters.
Aid related to this future ARRU will aim to cover the rehabilitation of the common elements of buildings, housing reconstruction, redevelopment work to improve the quality and sustainability of urban and finance the cost of equipment and offices planning, information management and social support.
To do this, said the adviser, "citizens can apply for grants for the rehabilitation of their homes, improve accessibility and energy efficiency and the general condition of the property, while the City financial means available for urban infrastructure".
Housing Plan
Aid for the regeneration areas and urban renewal are part of the State Plan for the promotion of rental housing, the edificatoria rehabilitation and regeneration and urban renewal 2013-2016.
Its aim is to restore the functionality of historic urban centers, degraded neighborhoods and rural villages.
Public subsidies are provided by the state and the region.
In the case of the Government, the maximum amount shall reflect the eligible costs of the action, which may not exceed 35 percent.
State aid is calculated by multiplying the number of dwellings in the building to rehabilitate a unit aid of up to 11,000 euros per household or up to 30,000, in the case of rebuilt homes.
Also, the amount contributed by the Community shall be 35 percent of the share of state rehabilitation activities.
