The Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, through the Directorate General of Planning, Architecture and Housing, promotes the implementation of a performance of comprehensive rehabilitation of 68 public housing in Lorquí, within the Housing Plan 2013-2016.
The Director General of Planning, Architecture and Housing, Nuria Fuentes, said that this is a project "with a high social value, which provide families residing in these public housing, rented, higher amenities and living conditions in their homes. "
Sources today met with the families living in these dwellings, located on Calle Lope de Vega, to explain the "quantum leap" they will experience in their homes after the works, which are worth more than 747,000 euros.
The building, with older than twenty, is spread over three floors, with ground floor apartments and duplex apartments on the first floor.
It is located on a plot of 2,933 square meters with a construction area of ​​5,907 square meters.
Improvements will be made in the condition of the building, in particular in the repair of roofs, supply networks and sanitation, as well as accessibility and internal development.
The director general added that the action is aimed, in addition to improving the quality of life of local residents, "the improvement of the urban fabric of the town."
This performance is included in a program of actions that the Ministry of Development held in 477 public housing nine municipalities in the region (Abarán, Sewer, Archena, Blanca, Ceuta, Cieza, Lorquí, Molina de Segura and Villanueva del Río Segura ), with an investment of 2.45 million euros and will go under the Housing Plan 2013-2016.
