The City of Lorquí-through its Local Development Agency in collaboration with San Nicolas Driving, held on Thursday 18 September (17-20 hours) a free course driving efficient cars and commercial vehicles designed for all those of city drivers who want to improve their driving habits and thus, save costs and extend the life of your vehicle.
And this initiative, which has unlimited time and which have already registered about 20 students, aims to promote a new style of driving which can be obtained reductions in fuel consumption up to 15% or also help reduce environmental impact, first, to combat climate change and, second, extending the useful life of machinery.
To this end, the Department of Local Development has decided ilorcitana teach these courses sponsored by the Energy Management Agency of the Region of Murcia, the Ministry of Industry and the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving of Energy, which may involve both regular drivers as professionals and also be protected by teaching professionals with knowledge of efficient driving techniques and experience in this type of training.
Thus, in one-day sessions, will develop a comprehensive program that includes free driving for each student, a lecture which will be presented for various driving techniques to real fuel savings, a driving tour by a teacher where students can apply the knowledge acquired and, finally, a final meeting where they discussed the findings and results, promoting the debate to raise awareness of the importance of implementing what they learned.
