The City of Lorquí-through its Local Development Agency and with the collaboration of Driver Olmeda-held on the afternoon of Sunday-Thursday 18 September, a free course driving efficient cars and commercial vehicles which took part in a township twenty drivers interested in improving their driving habits and thus, save costs and extend the life of your vehicle.
And is that this initiative has sought to foster a new style of driving which can obtain reductions in fuel consumption up to 15% and also helping reduce the environmental impact, first, to combat climate change secondly, extending the useful life of machinery.
To this end, the Department of Local Development ilorcitana has taught these courses sponsored by the Energy Management Agency of the Region of Murcia, the Ministry of Industry and the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving of Energy, in which both drivers have participated as usual professional and also have been tutored by professional teachers with knowledge of efficient driving techniques and experience in this type of training.
Useful and practical
Thus, in the afternoon yesterday developed a comprehensive program that included a free driving for each student, a lecture which presented several techniques aimed at driving actual fuel savings, a driving tour by a teacher where students could apply foreground and, finally, a final meeting where the findings were discussed and results, encouraging debate to raise awareness of the importance of implementing what they learned.
In addition, students receive a diploma at the end of the course.
