Lorquí City Council will begin in the coming days to the refurbishment of the road of "carrerón."
A project that has funded equally between the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region, through the Directorate General of Irrigation and Rural Roads, and the Consistory ilorcitano to recover almost a thousand meters of the road today is a major rural roads in the locality.
This measure is meant to end the current state of deterioration that affects pavement "carrerón" one of the most important arteries that connect with the different roads of the town ilorcitana.
Better communications
In total they will spend just over € 50,000 for the replacement of the carriageway along this stretch of "carrerón", of which the Autonomous Community of Murcia Region through the Ministry of Agriculture and water-fund 50 %, ie contribute to a consignment of 26,000 euros while the Consistory ilorcitano assume the rest.
As stated in the council of Agriculture of the City of Lorquí, Juan Perea, with these works of rehabilitation of the road in the path of "carrerón" is intended to "improve both communications and security measures in this area of town."
