Tomorrow, Sunday, October 26 ilorcitana the hamlet of Los Palacios will host the traditional "Day of the Parish of the town, a day that gives concluding popular Fiestas del Rosario.
A day of distinctly popular, and surely as is customary in the past, will have a great answer for the part of both local residents as of that hamlet.
The day will begin around 10 am in the same village of Lorquí, where you start a march on foot to the hamlet of Los Palacios.
There, at noon, the pastor of the town, Nicholas Poyato, a Mass presided over by the Virgen de las Nieves, patron saint of the village of Los Palacios.
This church service will be the "appetizer" of popular and delicious paella contest, which will wind up the day by bringing together hundreds of people (last year there were over 500 attendees) and where the party atmosphere will be the keynote.
All contestants will receive a gift for their participation and attendees can sample the paella is cooked over a wood fire on this day of celebration in that hamlet.
"We expect the weather to respect us," said Councilman ilorcitano Celebrations, Antonio Asensio, showing his enthusiasm for "meet locals and visitors a year mass and demonstrate that this day is a source of joy, fun and fellowship."
