The Volunteers Platform Murcia presented tomorrow Sunday 23 November in the project Lorquí "Caravan Peace Is Possible", an activity aimed to raise awareness and disseminate in our region the values of peace, understood as a source of welfare for all and basis of human and social progress in our community.

The caravan will be located throughout the day in the Plaza of Liberty and volunteers inform citizens of the various associations that are participating in this project.

Then in the afternoon (20 hours), this initiative will move to the Cultural Centre "Enrique Tierno Galván" ilorcitano municipality, where he held a ceremony for peace with free admission.

This will include an exhibition of posters, as well as audiovisual presentations and reading a manifesto for peace to explain to the audience the possibilities of improvements in personal well-being promoted by this project with its promotion and development of a " Culture of Peace. "

A culture that promotes respect for life, human dignity, values and attitudes that reflect and inspire participation.

This project comes with an inclusive, intercultural approach, and an educational perspective as a way to work together from different areas of a culture of peace.

Throughout the Region

This project will cover the 45 municipalities of our region for three months.

Thus began life on 21 September, coinciding with the celebration of International Peace Day, and ends on December 21.
