All these characteristics are what have defined "I Intercentros Sporting Events for Equality", which over the morning of Thursday February 12 IES has organized the "Romano García" Lorquí in the local sports center.
The objective of this initiative aimed at students of ESO has been to celebrate a holiday where the sport has been the meeting point for secondary schools throughout the Region of Murcia.

Besides the large number of participants, the event has been characterized in that all tests have been mixed: all teams have been composed of equal numbers of girls than boys, and the track has been observed that equality.
The sports that are practiced are soccer 7, 3x3 basketball, badminton, table tennis and tetrahlón (Frisbee, rope-pulling, climbing and cross).
Thus, in every sport we have established two categories, corresponding to first and second cycle of ESO.
In these meetings, in which more than 400 young people, each of the kids have worn the shirt with the color of the center, to distinguish them during games.
A day of fun planned for participants and spectators, where the important thing was to determine the winners or losers, but who better is what happened.
To encourage participation, each student @ has competed in only one modality.
Thus, all sports, including individual, have played in team mode.
The day concluded with the awards ceremony, featuring Mayor ilorcitana, Dolores Garcia Villa, and the director of the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, Teresa Moreno.
This act, which has been given a trophy to the winning teams in each sport and a prize to the center that has accumulated the most points in the final standings, finished with a meal of coexistence among the participants.
