The mayor of Lorquí, Dolores García Villa, visited on Wednesday February 18 works by conditioning the environment of the fireplace La Carreta, located in the area of the municipality UA10.
These works, which have been awarded 49,600 euros and have an implementation period of two months, began a few days ago and funded with assistance from the Local Investment Fund proposed by the Central Government.
The work, first launched in the town with this government plan, will involve, among other tasks, the installation of new exterior lighting and street furniture, pavement and renewal of the area.
To make this work, the contractor has fulfilled the commitment to the City ilorcitano to hire two new workers, "rescuing" from the list of unemployment to be allocated to this project.
"Our council has worked effectively in order to have these grants with a single purpose: to benefit our town and our neighbors," said Dolores Garcia Villa, Lorquí mayor, who did not want to miss this opportunity to thank the central government this contribution extraordinary.
A Local Investment Fund, which, it should be recalled, provides for the grant of 177 € per capita for immediate implementation initiatives.

And is that the City Council has already Lorquí to work to benefit the aid of the Local Investment Fund proposed by the Central Government that the municipality has allocated one million euros (1,181,000 euros specifically ) for various projects that the December 30 resolution received favorable.
Thus, the rest of the projects submitted and approved, such as the remodeling of the urban infrastructure of streets and Pablo Picasso Miracles of the town, and renewal of street lighting in the street outside gardens, are currently bidding period.
For its part, the remodeling of Lepanto Street has been awarded a few days ago the company "Acciona Agua, SA" for an amount in excess of 170,000 euros.
