The pastor D.
Julián Marín Torrecilla, who was pastor of Lorquí in 80's, has been appointed as Town Crier of Easter 2009 in the town ilorcitana.
Currently pastor of San Pedro de Calasparra, Marin Torrecilla read his opening speech on Saturday, March 28 (20:30 pm) in St. James Parish ilorcitano municipality, on a day which also marks the "IV Meeting Drum and Bugle Bands "of the town.
With this distinction as Town Crier of Easter 2009 the municipality, the ilorcitanos want deserved tribute to his former pastor for his outstanding work in the town, which keep a lasting memory.
Other men of faith
Torrecilla Marin joins other men of faith in the office of Town Crier of celebrations in the town, as the pastor D.
Belchí Antonio López, who read the 2007 Proclamation of the festivity, or the Rev. D.
Ramon Garcia, who served as Town Crier Easter ilorcitana also in 2007.
