Lorquí City Council has begun renovation of the exterior lighting of the gardens of the city streets, work as part of the aid funding from the Local Investment Fund proposed by the Central Government, the municipality has allocated more than one million euros (namely 1.181 million euros) for various projects and already the Dec. 30 resolution received favorable.

Thus, the company "Emurtel, SA" is being responsible for carrying out this work and awarded more than 165,000 euros (specifically the amount is 165,049 euros '68 plus VAT) and a lead time of four months.

For this work, the contractor has fulfilled its commitment to hire 12 people who were unemployed.

The rest of the projects submitted and approved are in different phases: first, the remodeling of the urban infrastructure of streets and Pablo Picasso Miracles of the town are currently bidding period, and secondly, the remodeling of the street Lepanto and the environment conditioning fireplace La Carreta, located in the area of the municipality UA10 are already underway.
