The Youth Council of the City of Lorquí has called the "I Lorquí Young Artists Competition, which will have four categories creative $ 200 prize to the winner of each: photography, video, comics and graffiti.
The competition, which is done through local Informajoven Service and aims to promote the creativity of young people aged between 13 and 30 who were born in Murcia or have a residence permit in the region, will conclude his submission period work on 18 December (up to 14 hours), the date from which all work will be exhibited at the Exhibition Hall of the Consistory ilorcitano.
All work must be submitted properly packed in the local Informajoven Service (calle Atocha, 8 - informajoven@ayuntamientodelorqui.com - Tel: 968 693 448), accompanied by the particulars of the creative person as well as a brief description of the creation.
Be excluded works that advocate violence, as well as works that contain any discriminatory content and / or prejudicial to the dignity of individuals.
The jury's decision (which shall consist of five persons) will be published on 22 December and the awards ceremony will be held in person on 28th November in the City of Lorquí.
Four areas
In the section on photography, the works presented will be any theme, unpublished and not awarded any other competition.
The size of the photos will be between 18 x 24 cm and 30 x 40 cm, mounted on rigid backing (cardboard, wood, etc) at A3.
If digital photography, including a copy on DVD in JPG format with the highest definition possible.
In the comic section the issue of the comic is free, and drawing techniques used, and, at most, the work will extend over 3 A3 pages.
For his part, chapter video the issue will also be free (it can be filmed or recorded in any format) as well as how to edit.
Furthermore, the duration shall not exceed 10 minutes and the delivery format is a DVD copy.
In the section on graffiti, which will be held again in the municipality under the title "Decorate Lorquí" - young people may participate individually, in pairs or groups, and the purpose of the call is the graffiti wall to Lorquí Township promote and make visible the urban art creations made by young people from Murcia.
The selection criteria are creativity, originality and quality, and the topics will be tolerance, equality, nature, sport, respect, leisure ... In addition, the organization will provide the necessary equipment to enable painted on the walls of the selected works.
