A bonocheque of 150 euros to buy books and notebooks in the libraries of the municipality.
That is the help given by the Department of Education of the City of Lorquí to 4 pupils of Secondary Education (ESO) to pursue their studies in the IES "ROMANO GARCIA" of the town during the 2009-10 school year.
To receive this assistance, which is complemented by that provided by the Ministry of Education of the Regional Government schoolchildren 3 of the ESO by an identical amount, the school must meet the basic requirement of being registered in the municipality.
With this measure agreed between that Department and AMPAS (Association of Parents of Students) in the schools, families receive a direct payment to acquire the property, at local bookstores books and activity books necessary for the activity school.
Education ilorcitano Councilman Joaquin Cremades Lorenzo said: "This is an important step in this time of crisis, as any financial assistance to families is always beneficial."
"It forms part of our continuing commitment, as in previous years we have been doing is providing that is covered by the municipal budget," says Cremer.
