Lorquí City Council has recently completed the reconstruction of the retaining wall of the Vega Media del Segura Street, which runs at the foot of the famous Hermitage Cabezo of the town.

The work, which involves an investment of almost 148,000 euros, have been partially subsidized by the Regional Government under the Basic Infrastructure Plan, specifically with 101,000 euros.

"Rebuilding the wall was imperative for our neighbors, since the days of heavy rain the landslide hazard is increased in a dangerous manner," said Mayor Lorqui, Dolores Garcia Villa.
