On the morning of Tuesday 10 November, the mayor of Lorquí, Dolores Garcia, has officially closed the kitchen free course aimed at the immigrant community in the municipality that started last September 1.
In the closing ceremony, Garcia-who was accompanied by his council of Culture, Antonio Asensio, has allocated to the participants for their corresponding diploma and encouraged them to integrate into the labor market.
Upon completion, attendees were able to enjoy an extensive free tasting of various dishes that the students have learned.
In the course, organized by the City ilorcitano through its Local Development Agency, the students have learned different recipes, mainly of Mediterranean cuisine, which will provide basic training in hospitality and cuisine.
Included in the Program of Global Integration through Employment ", this training activity, financed by the European Social Fund and the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, has had 200 hours divided into their respective theoretical and practical, and has developed Monday to Friday morning in municipal facilities Cabezo de la Ermita.
