Lorquí City Council has requested assistance from the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability worth 607,000 euros to finance renovation projects of urban infrastructure, especially outside lighting, water supply and sanitation, streets and Mayor Clock ( in the section between the streets and Portichuelo clock) as well as rehabilitation and the removal of architectural barriers in their environment.
The main objective of this work is to achieve savings and efficiency of lighting and water resources.
It also seeks to ensure the promotion of sustainable mobility in these two local roads.
Specifically, the projected works include construction of roads, paved roads and sidewalks, the network of water distribution and wastewater treatment, telephone, street lighting ...
"We want to continue with our policy of improving infrastructure, which is taking shape with successive drafts of new facilities and renovation of existing ones, updating and improving their performance," said the mayor ilorcitana, Dolores Garcia Villa.
