The Town Hall Square will host Lorquí March 6, the traditional meeting of Drums and Bugles Bands, "which this year will celebrate its fifth anniversary in the town.

From 17 hours the participants in this proposal will star in a parade through the town playing their tunes, in a journey that will end the City Hall Square and where the musicians will perform for free to the public.

Organized by the Department of Culture ilorcitana, this meeting has already opened its registration period, which is free of charge for those bands with a minimum of five members, want to join this celebration of music.

This can be done to formalize it in the local council (968,690,001) and join the meeting in which participants can enjoy free snacks and refreshments.

For now it is confirmed the participation of the "Band of Bugles and Drums of the Holy Christ of Ecce Homo" (ABARE), the "Bugle and Drum Band Our Lady of Sorrows" (ricotta), the "Banda Virgen del Carmen" ( Alguazas) and the "Gang of drums, trumpets and bagpipes of the Brotherhood of the Flagellation" (ABARE), in addition to the Band of the "Brotherhood of the Holy Christ is Risen" (Lorquí).

Repeat success

Last year this meeting was attended by musical bands of drums and trumpets "The Samaritan Woman" and "The Lord of the Pit" (both of Alguazas), "Virgen de los Dolores" (ricotta), "Nuestro Padre Jesus and Entourage Romano (ABARE) and host of the "Brotherhood of the Holy Christ is Risen" ilorcitana, who played the most varied musical repertoire.

"Every year this is a massive party with great public acceptance, and we hope, at least, repeat the previous success," said the councilman of Culture, Antonio Asensio.
