On Saturday 13 February, the Department of Youth Lorquí organized a trip to Lorca, where participants visited the cultural proposals "Workshop Time" and "Fortress of the Sun."
In this output, with the participation of 25 youths of the town aged between 15 and 17, the expedition was able to learn more about the Medieval Age through various plays.
After the visit, toured Lorca allowed them to learn the history of the town and its sights.
"It was a proposal that the kids were able to combine leisure and culture, learning and fun with the show's history," said local Councillor for Youth, Joaquín Lorenzo Cremades.
More proposals
Furthermore, the said Department has launched an advanced course in electric guitar that started last February 1 and will run until Wednesday 17 March.
It involves six young men from 22 to 29 who are learning new techniques on other guitar and even starting it.
With evening hours, the classes are taking place at the Cultural Center "Enrique Tierno Galván" and fall in the interest of the local Youth Council to provide youth employment opportunities for healthy leisure, and working and improve the knowledge that they are of interest.
In addition, this program provides activities for a weekend of skiing in Sierra Nevada, which will take place over the next 5, 6 and 7 March and the young people can enjoy a ilorcitanos skiing sessions on the slopes of Granada.
