On Thursday April 15 Lorquí Local police detained two Romanian women accused of stealing an elderly person.
Apparently the suspect went begging and putting his "modus operandi" was to take advantage of the carelessness of their victims to the theft of money.
In fact, the two women were later identified as the alleged responsible for a similar theft, committed several months earlier, worth 1,400 euros.
The two suspects have been available to the Guardia Civil.
Also, on Tuesday April 20 Spanish nationals two men were arrested in Lorqui, charged with stealing copper pipes from a duplex under construction in the locality.
According to local police sources ilorcitana, the defendants caused widespread damage in the duplex under construction.
