The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and the Mayor of Lorquí, Dolores García Villa, opened April 29 on Thursday the renovation of the street infrastructure Lorquí Miracles.
Some work valued at almost 400,000 euros and that included, among other actions, the renewal of street lighting, drainage, paving ... This official opening ceremony was also attended by various members of the municipal corporation ilorcitana as well as a large group of residents of the municipality .
Previously both had participated in a Local Safety Board held in the Plenary Hall of the local council, which were accompanied by several representatives of the Guardia Civil and Local Police.
At this meeting, put together the biggest hurdles facing the municipality on safety and what could be their solutions.
Villa Garcia wanted to emphasize in the Local Security Board "coordination between City Hall and Government Delegation is critical to optimize the services of the security forces in our municipality."
For his part, Rafael Gonzalez noted that the Board has established "a committee that will work from tomorrow to launch a domestic violence protocol in the municipality."
An extensive tour
Subsequently, González Tovar and Garcia Villa toured various parts of town to visit the works already completed and funded from the Local Investment Fund provided in 2009.
Thus, the local mayor and the delegate of the Government visited, in addition to the works of Milan Street, renovations of all urban services Lepanto Street (more than 170,000 euros of investment) and street Picasso (with a budget the 350,000 euros), renewal of street lighting gardens (with an investment of more than 165,000 euros) and the remodeling of Carnation Street.
Also, the delegation also visited the results of the refurbishment work on the environment fireplace La Carreta, located in the area of the municipality UA10.
This action, which had an investment of 49,600 euros, meant, among other tasks, the installation of new exterior lighting and street furniture and paving the renewal of the area.
